Hurricane Spotted

    I got up this morning and went to school as usual. This day was not just a usual day and I will tell you why. It was cloudy today with not much chance the sun would come out. I would have checked the weather on the internet, but didn’t feel like it. I got to school and my friends asked me what had happened at my house and I told them exactly what happened and even told them about the letter. They were basically thinking the same thing I was. Going on with the day, an announcement came on that we could leave school early because of the possible chance that tornadoes could hit in the area since 7 of them were spotted this morning. I got home around 1:34pm. Luckily no tornado struck in the area, but we did have some bad storms. The reason all this is happening is because there is a category 3 hurricane coming near us. Now usually hurricanes never hit here and I have no reason why. They usually completely miss us even though they look like they are coming our way. I just knew this one would miss us, what I was worried about was the wind and possible tornadoes. The rest of the day was just rainy.
